VARIETY

I chose this picture because I pass by these three cars every day, but have never noticed how different they are.  The one on the far left is very small, the one in the middle is larger, but more like a van, and the one on the right is a truck. Also, you can't really tell with the editing I did, but the small car is blue, the middle car is red, and the truck is white. I used the fading tool in photoshop to edit the picture and make it more antique. 

MOVEMENT

For movement, I decided to take a picture of waves crashing down on the ocean. You can see the splashing of water in the more prominent waves, which shows the movement of the picture. 

Asymmetrical Balance

For asymmetrical balance, I chose a picture I took of my friend Olivia during lunch using rule of thirds. I tilted the camera, making Olivia towards the right. 

UNITY

In this picture, I took a picture of logs linked together by a single chain. This symbolized unity, because all the logs are  united with one long chain.

JOURNAL: COLOR

This picture applies to the color method of photography. The buildings in the background are a nice yellow color, which makes the little bit of yellow in the sand stand out more.

JOURNAL: RULE OF THIRDS

The can of Arizona Iced Tea in this picture is slightly more towards the left of the frame, using the rule of thirds.

SUNPRINTS

I took sunprint paper, and put an object on it and let it sit out in the sun for about 5 minutes. I chose my hand. Afterwards, I scanned it onto photoshop and made the texture and color different.
